Все, що потрібно знати про олію для шкіри обличчя

Everything you need to know about face oil

Oils have been used since ancient times to care not only for hair and body, but also for facial skin. Today, we fearlessly apply them to the body after a shower or hair in the form of a mask. But few people know about which oils are good for facial skin. To some extent, this is due to the belief that oils are only needed for dry skin and even dry skin can lead to blackheads and acne. In fact, if you know which oils are good for the skin of the face, you can solve the problems of excessive oiliness, rashes, dryness, the first signs of aging, etc.

General rules for using oils

As such, there are no special rules and, in general, the method of use is banal and very simple. The main thing is to observe several important nuances:
  • use the product regularly, but not every day. In the case of oils, it is enough to apply it 2-3 times a week, and on the rest of the days use your usual cream;
  • use only the right product! If you understand in more detail, which ones oil useful for the skin of the face, it turns out that the list is not so small. But in order to get a good effect, you need to choose a product based not only on your skin type, but also on the problems that need to be solved. For example, you should not use shea oil on oily and acne-prone skin, especially several times a week. But if you choose the right one (alone and in a mixture), you can solve the problem of excess fat and rashes;
  • oil should be applied exclusively to wet skin!
  • it is also worth paying attention to the time of application - some natural oils are prone to oxidation in sunlight and therefore can only be used at night.

What oils are good for different types of facial skin?

You probably know that there are several main types of skin, and initially any cosmetics will be chosen based on this criterion. Oils are no exception and are also selected by type:
  • oils with a lighter texture are suitable for oily skin, as well as those that regulate the work of the sebaceous glands. These include grape seed oil, almond oil, hemp oil, hazelnut oil, etc.;
  • What oils are good for dry facial skin? First of all, these are argan, avocado, jojoba, macadamia, etc. oils. They are much more nutritious, but at the same time they are not comedogenic;
  • for problematic skin, products with an antibacterial effect are suitable. These include oils of black cumin, amaranth, as well as mixtures with the addition of ethers. For example, such mixtures often contain tea tree essential oil, which is known for its healing and antibacterial properties;
  • normal and combination skin reacts perfectly to "bone" oils: almond, peach, apricot, etc. Their main feature is nutrition, but moderate, a high level of hydration and the fight against the first signs of aging;
  • if we talk about which oils are useful for the skin of the face after 30 years, then, unfortunately, there are no specific ones that have exclusively rejuvenating qualities. For mature skin, nutrition and hydration are very important in order to maintain its tone and not provoke new wrinkles due to dryness, and almost any oil for a dry type will do a great job with this.
