Четыре этапа ухода за кожей лица при помощи натуральных средств

Four stages of facial skin care using natural remedies

It is generally accepted that proper facial care takes a lot of time. Or funds. In fact, it is not quite so. In order for the face to remain well-groomed, first of all, persistence and discipline are required - because caring for the skin of the face includes only four main stages:
  • purification;
  • toning
  • moisturizing;
  • nutrition
And all you need for this is nothing - spare yourself, beloved, a few minutes a day and go through these four stages, which eventually turn into a familiar procedure. Of course, the use of natural means in self-care takes more time than the use of store-bought cosmetics, but the resulting effect is worth it, you can be sure!

So, four stages of facial skin care using nature's gifts.

Cleansing

Do not confuse daily cleansing with deep cleansing of the face, which cosmetologists recommend 3-4 times an hour. Regular home cleansing is less traumatic, and it should be done daily, 2-3 times a week, having previously steamed the skin of the face. To do this, simply bend over a hot steam bath with herbal infusion for a short time, covering yourself with a towel. When the pores open properly, you can proceed to the actual cleansing: apply a little cleanser to a cotton pad and wipe your face, following the massage lines.

If the skin is dry...

Dry skin is best cleansed with natural oils. Place a couple of teaspoons of butter in a ceramic cup and heat it a little in a water bath.

We slightly moisten a cotton pad in warmed oil and wipe the skin, after which we apply a more abundant layer with a new pad. After a couple of minutes, remove excess oil with a clean disk moistened with a weak saline solution, tea or herbal decoction.
Almond, olive, corn, linseed, and sunflower oils are ideal for cleansing, as well as seed oils — made from peach, apricot, and grape seeds.

Useful for dry skin and washing with milk, which should be used after cleansing. This procedure is possible only if there are no wounds or scratches on the face.
Dilute the milk with a decoction of chamomile or raspberry leaves until it is slightly warm. Rinse the face and dry with a napkin.

As a homemade scrub for dry skin, a mixture of crushed oatmeal and honey, as well as coffee grounds mixed with sour cream with or without the addition of rice flour, has proven itself well.

If the skin is oily...

Egg yolk mixed with a teaspoon of grapefruit juice and lemon juice, which is quite successfully replaced by vinegar, will clean problem skin well and at the same time nourish it. And if you add oatmeal ground into the mixture, you can create a soft peeling effect. Leave the mixture on the skin for a few minutes, then wash it off with water.

The yolk-juice mixture can be divided into several parts and stored in the refrigerator, used daily and without steaming.

Excellent for oily skin and sour milk. The face should be wiped several times in a row, each time using a new cotton swab, more abundantly soaked in sour milk or kefir. Finish the procedure by removing excess milk from the face with a dry tampon.

For normal and combination skin

Bean peeling has an excellent whitening effect, which, however, is suitable for any skin type. Boil the beans and grind a few beans with olive oil, adding a few drops of lemon juice to the mixture. Sugar or soda peeling also cleans the skin well. Just add a teaspoon of fine granulated sugar or soda to the soapy foam during washing, gently massage and rinse with warm water.

Toning

Toning helps saturate the skin with oxygen and normalize the acid-alkaline balance, helps to narrow pores and smooth out each layer. Thus, skin of any type needs to use the tonic. The formulation of tonics for different types of skin has its own characteristics.

For oily skin, it is better to use products that will dry it:

A mixture of grapefruit juice (about 5 cups) with the addition of vodka and lemon juice (1 tablespoon each).
Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to a glass of cold green tea. Done! Tonic perfectly copes with greasy shine.
We take sage leaves, mother-and-stepmother flowers (1 tablespoon each), add 1 teaspoon of St. John's wort herb and fill everything with half a glass of vodka and insist for a week. Before use, dilute in half with water.
Dry skin "loves" more vitamins:

Take 3 large ripe plums, boil for a couple of minutes and wipe your face with the cooled broth.
Fill a glass of rose petals (preferably red) with almond oil and heat in a water bath until the petals discolor. Cool and wipe your face after cleansing.
Add 1 teaspoon of honey to half a glass of boiling birch sap, stir and cool. The same can be done using linden decoction instead of juice: 1 cup of boiling water for 1 tablespoon of flowers.
Cucumber is a universal tonic for any type. Cut the cucumber into cubes and pour 3 tablespoons of such cubes with a glass of boiling milk. Boil for 3 minutes, and the tonic is ready!

Tonic made at home cannot be stored for a long time, but in the refrigerator it will not lose its properties within a week. If the composition of the product includes alcohol, then you can safely leave it for 2 weeks. Fully alcoholic infusions can be stored even longer - up to a year.

Moisturization and nutrition

Masks made from natural ingredients perform a double function: they simultaneously moisturize and nourish the skin of the face.

In addition, thanks to their naturalness, they are suitable for any type of skin. The difference is only in what basis was used for such a mask.
For example, sour milk products and citrus juice are good for oily skin, while fresh whole milk, cream and sour cream are good for dry skin. Normal skin (as well as other types) is "pleased" with a cottage cheese mask, as well as a mixture of grated vegetables or fruits.
So, universal means that are recommended to be included in moisturizing masks regardless of skin type:
  • Natural oils - olive oil, almond oil, grape seed oil.
  • Aloe juice.
  • Fruit and vegetable pulp - carrots, bananas, apples, melons, cucumbers, potatoes, tomatoes, strawberries.
  • Honey.
  • Medicinal herbs.
  • Oat flakes.
  • Egg yolk.
Thus, knowing the peculiarities of your skin, you can independently prepare a mask that perfectly matches them.

The mask can be applied directly to the skin or (if its consistency is not thick enough) soaked in gauze and applied to the face.

Nutritional creams can also be prepared at home, but for this you will have to fiddle with their preparation. Such creams are based on natural wax, butter, and glycerin, to which other ingredients are added.

An excellent alternative to home facial care products is a caring cosmetics created by hand by professionals based on natural ingredients.
