Beauty will save the world. And the packaging from it will ruin it.
This is exactly what the scientists who studied statistical data on non-fibrous plastic produced in 2015 decided. It turned out that 42% is the packaging of finished products. And this, for a second, is 52% of all plastic waste. That is, most of it.
In a year, 300 million tons of new plastic appears on the planet. And a considerable percentage falls on packaging for cosmetics - all these colorful boxes, tubes, bottles ...
What to do?
We produce environmentally friendly products not to exacerbate environmental problems. Nutritive can't change the whole world ... Unless little by little, starting small :) And we started ...
This is already a victory
Yes, there is something to be proud of. We managed to set up production so that the packaging is made using recycled food-grade plastic.
Just imagine:
1 milk bottle = a couple of cream boxes = a bottle of natural shampoo
By buying such products, you take care not only of yourself, but also of the planet, stopping the appearance of excess plastic.
The number of units of plastic containers that we have processed since the start of production is in the thousands. It is scary to imagine this pile of plastic on roadsides or city dumps.
Plastic small world
It's hard to admit, but most plastic products end up like this, and it's not the worst option.
Forests and the ocean are littered with plastic waste: fish die after swallowing bright debris; birds die, entangled in plastic bags.
The landfills are overflowing and displacing the residents of the surrounding areas, making their lives unbearable.
What was meant to make life comfortable is killing everything around.
The world is turning into a mountain of plastic.
What awaits us?
It was thoughts about the future that made us think about rebranding. We decided: a company that adheres to an ecologically conscious strategy automatically imposes obligations on itself. The obligation to take care of the safety of not only products, but also the production itself.
Every step of our activity should prove that we do not care about the world we live in and what we will leave to our children. After all, caring for a person involves preserving a healthy, unspoiled environment around him.
Keeping the planet clean.
That is why we pay so much attention to the release of packaging from recycled materials: it does not worsen the environmental crisis associated with excess plastic.
When it comes to plastic, the right way is not to create something new, but to be able to use what is already there.
Opening the circle
Several months were spent on research and calculations, but we achieved our goal: now the Nutritive company uses packaging that is partially made of recycled plastic in its production.
By using secondary raw materials, we managed to break the closed circle and make our products truly ecological in every sense.
We sincerely hope for the support of our customers and ask you not to throw away the used packaging from under the products together with other garbage. Send bottles and tubes to special containers for plastic so that they find a new life again in the form of other important and useful things, even if they are not related to cosmetics.
